If someone, under pain of death, told me I could only have one camera, this would be the one… The medium format Pentax 67 is a tank. It’s big, loud, and heavy, but it handles exceptionally well and the 6x7 neg is big enough to be significantly better than 35 mm film, and only worse than 4x5 film when you try to print it bigger than 16x20.
I have four lens for mine, but the 105 f2.4 stays on most of the time. The 55 f3.5 is next. I barely touch the 200mm and 300mm….
I have the chimney waist level finder for it as well. When I pull off the pentaprism, take off the wood handle, and install the waist level finder, the camera gets much more sleek. It’s my favourite way to shoot landscapes with this camera…
